We always say how a saddle is ultimately a personal choice. Currently the top of the Selle SMP product line is the STRIKE. The STRIKE series comes in several different designs to accommodate each and every different physical characteristic a rider may have. Sounds intricate, but saddles are intricate. Each model in the STRIKE series has common (and patented) characteristics such as the original beak of the saddle nose. Each Selle SMP saddle is specifically designed to give the rider a flat base for support while sitting for those long climbs. The flat base of the beak also helps on the downhill slopes by offering significantly greater thigh control of the bicycle. Another big issue cyclists face with each saddle is the specific seating pattern.
